The Indiana Assemblies of God has partnered with Church Life Resources to provide cohorts for pastoral and church development.
Church Life Cohort Launches in August
A new Church Life Cohort and a second-year cohort are launching on August 31. The Church Life Cohort is the Indiana District’s chosen approach to address church health and the implementation of Pentecostal systems to serve as tools for the fulfillment of the Holy Spirit’s unique design for your church. We are unapologetically people of the Spirit, and as such, we realize our need to prepare avenues for the Spirit to work in our lives, churches, and communities.
The cohorts will host 8 sessions. The first-year cohort will lay the foundation for advancement and the second-year cohort will be heavy on assessments, evaluating strengths and weaknesses, and building out God’s vision for the church in the Church Life framework. The main topics for consideration are spiritual life, spiritual community, ministries, outreach, leadership, and management. Within these major components are 15 vital functions. The Church Life Cohort will equip each pastor with tools necessary for fulfilling the mission God has given them.
Following is a listing of the scheduled dates and topics for the next cohort.
